Coltrane Peak is the isle’s snowy mountain — a region of icy enemies and, threaded through it, a frozen trainyard: a graveyard of overturned railcars where the ghosts of crash victims linger after a terrible accident. Sub-areas include Frostbite Woods, Icebound Cavern, and Frigid Station. Its Spark Generator is the fifth in the canon order.
The peak sits to the north and is the easiest region to reach: spend a train ticket from any station (including Ossex) and you’ll arrive at Frigid Station. If you’d rather travel overland, you can scale the mountain north of Eastern Heath instead.
Frozen Horror, Mirren, and the mirror
The region’s guardian is the Frozen Horror, a yellow monster encased in ice. A secret boss, Mirren, haunts an abandoned carriage in Frostbite Woods — beating it awards the Blinking Glass trinket. The region mirror sits in the Icebound Cavern, right after the Frozen Horror — burrow into the room to the right to find it. Holding the walk button into it teleports you to Mirror’s End in the Astral Orrery.
